Sandra Herrera

Founder of Blooming Supports

Sandra Herrera is the Founder of Blooming Supports, a Western Australia–based NDIS provider committed to delivering compassionate, person‑centred support.

Sandra founded Blooming Supports with a clear vision:

to create services that genuinely understand, empower, and support people with disability to live independently and achieve their goals.

She is passionate about building a values‑led organisation that prioritises dignity, inclusion, and meaningful participation, and remains closely involved in the direction and growth of Blooming Supports.

Alana Vanderburg

Alana Vanderburg

Business Development Manager

Alana is an experienced Business Development Manager known for building strong partnerships and delivering results that support both client goals and business growth.

With a diverse background across cosmetics, fashion, automotive, and offshore support, she brings a versatile skill set to every role. Her strengths lie in authentic relationship-building, clear communication, and thriving in fast-paced environments.

Outside of work, Alana enjoys cooking, health, and fitness, while keeping up with her energetic toddler—often leading to outdoor camping adventures and plenty of pump track trips.

Valentina Gonzalez Herrera

Senior Administration & Accounts

Valentina Gonzalez-Herrera is the Services and Administration Manager at Blooming Supports and has been part of the organisation since its inception. She began her career with Blooming Supports as an NDIS Support Worker, gaining valuable frontline experience that continues to shape her approach to service delivery and operations today.

With a strong understanding of both client support and internal systems, Valentina plays a key role in ensuring the organisation runs smoothly, compliantly, and with a strong client focus. She is proud to have grown alongside Blooming Supports and remains deeply committed to supporting both participants and staff to thrive.

Outside of work, Valentina enjoys spending time with her dog Thor, watching Formula 1, and building LEGO—especially F1-themed sets, which combine her creativity and passion for the sport.

Lyndsey Mendham port

Lyndsey Mendham

Disability Employment Counsellor

Lyndsey is the Customised Disability Employment Counsellor at Blooming Supports, with over five years’ experience across disability education, employment, and capacity building. 

Her background includes learning support in specialised education, coordination within OSHC, and current work in Disability Employment Services. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science and Sociology and holds a Certificate in Customised Disability Employment through CDERP.

Lyndsey is passionate about empowering people with disabilities and creating meaningful, sustainable employment outcomes.

Nikki Brown port

Nikki Brown

Support Coordinator

Nikki is one of our passionate Support Coordinators, with extensive experience supporting NDIS participants, backed by 15 years as a Special Needs Education Assistant. Nikki and her family moved to Australia from Zimbabwe 18 years ago and call Perth home.

Nikki’s strengths lie in her compassionate approach, strong organisational skills, and commitment to helping others achieve positive outcomes.

Outside of work, Nikki is an active Surf Life Saver and marathon runner who enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, and travel. She values an active, outdoor lifestyle and shares her home with her husband, their 3 adult children and of course her beloved dog, Thandi.

Barbara

Barbara Becik

Support Coordinator

Barbara is a Support Coordinator with a background in Physiotherapy, having completed her Bachelor’s degree in 2020. With over two years of experience in Australia’s disability sector, she has progressed from a Support Worker role into Support Coordination, building a strong and practical understanding of participant needs and the service system.

She is passionate about ethical advocacy, effective service navigation, and empowering participants to make informed choices and achieve their goals. Barbara takes a person-centred, collaborative approach, ensuring the people she supports feel heard, respected, and confident in their journey.

Outside of work, Barbara values spending time with friends and family and is committed to ongoing learning and personal growth, both professionally and personally.

Caitlin Dransfield port

Caitlin Dransfield

Support Coordinator

Caitlin is a Support Coordinator with a strong background in the disability sector, bringing eight years of experience as a Disability Support Worker.

With a Bachelor of Disability and Community Inclusion from Flinders University, she combines practical experience with formal knowledge to support positive outcomes. Her strengths lie in advocacy, lived experience, and a genuine passion for supporting people with disability to achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Caitlin is a dedicated Para-badminton athlete who has represented Australia internationally since 2016 and competed at the Tokyo Paralympics. She continues to train and compete, with her sights set on the LA Paralympics in 2028, reflecting her determination and commitment both professionally and personally.

Anna Nguyen

Support Coordinator

Anna combines professional training with lived experience, having navigated PTSD and anxiety herself. This journey has shaped her empathy, resilience, and commitment to creating a safe, non-judgmental space for others.

She has over two years of experience in support coordination, holds a Bachelor of Health Science, and is currently completing her Master of Occupational Therapy at Curtin University. Anna is passionate about helping young people build confidence, independence, and hope for the future.

Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, spending time in nature, and connecting with friends and family.

Daniela Monrroy port

Daniela Monrroy

Administration

Daniela Monrroy is a dedicated, determined, and kind disability support professional with experience in both frontline support and administrative coordination within the NDIS sector.

She has been working with Blooming Supports since 2022, where she provides emotional support, assistance with daily living, community participation, advocacy, and goal setting. Known for her positive attitude and ability to build trusting relationships, Daniela consistently delivers person-centred support.

In 2025, she joined the administrative team, supporting operational processes while maintaining a strong client focus. Her previous background in organisational development and human resources in Chile strengthens her communication, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence.
